Being by dividing Ss into groups of 3. Show them Exercice 4 on page 80 and tell them that they're going to match the headings with the appropriate paragraphs. Do the first example with them( give them no more than 30 seconds for this example) Emphasize that the reading is going to be quick not slow. When they're done ask them to check with each other. Then hand out Answer keys and give them time to check the correct answers.

Change the groups around. Ss will now do Ex5 P 80. Explain the task to the students and do one example with them before they finish by themselves. This time, give them one minute to the first example. Let them finish the rest of the questions by themselves. Allow them time to check their answers together before handing out the answer keys.

Post-Reading (8-10 minutes) • To provide with an opportunity to respond to the text and expand on what they've learned.

For this task, divide the class into two halfs. Explain that they are going to brainstorm arguments for/against the ideas in the text. When they're done brainstorming, each side will choose one student to represent them.
