Later on, they will decide which negative prefixes go along with six adjectives provided and put them in the table. This activity is followed by a gap-fill handout which requires to use the negative adjective from exercise 1. Afterward, students will prepare a survey consisting of 10 T/F statements about themselves by using adjectives with negative prefixes and swap their questions and try to guess the correct answers about each other.

Greet the students. Introduce the perspective of the salesperson. Ask 2 questions on how the process went down on the salesperson's side: -Was the salesperson successful or unsuccessful to convince the customer to get the Spark Gold Card? -Do you think the salesperson is 100% honest or dishonest while trying to convince the customer? -What do you think of sales staff in general? Are they trustworthy or untrustworthy? Why do you think so?

Language Clarification (8-10 minutes) • Highlight examples of the target language

Ask the students to highlight 7 adjectives with negative prefixes from the audio script and add them to the table provided. Make sure SS are aware that adding the prefix makes the meaning of the lexis negative. Peer-check after they finish. Flash the answers on the board once the peer-check is over. Elicit antonyms/synonyms for any unfamiliar lexis. Use CCQs where necessary.

Language Clarification (5-8 minutes) • To encourage SS to elicit the adjective with negative prefix in a sentence

Ss throw a ball of jumbled papers one inside another to each other and whoever catches it peel off a layer of paper and tries to complete it.

Language Practice (8-10 minutes) • Check students' use of the target language again with gap-fill handout

SS complete the sentences with a negative adjective from the table. Peercheck. Feedback.

Language Practice (12-15 minutes) • Provide an opportunity to practice target productive skills

Students write 10 T/F statements about themselves by using adjectives with negative prefixes. Then they swap their papers with one another and try to guess whether those statements are true or false about their peers.
