Procedure (37-46 minutes)
Show Ss a taxi picture onto the board, ask the Questions of Ex P34 and let them speak out to be prepared for the lesson. Tell an anecdote about a taxi driving.
show Ss a set of the used vocab and picture and let them do matching Ex, work in pairs then whole class feedback on the board.
adapt Ex2 to create fill gaps activity so Ss can understand the meaning of the vocab better. work in pairs for the activity, peer FB, then W/C FB.
Adapting Ex3 by Ask students to tell a funny story about taking a taxi experience with the use of the new vocab, give Ss time to think about then speak in pairs, choose one S to speak to the W/C (depend on time)
Set Ex p35, show Ss the driver picture onto the board, handout the Ex, giving instructions and use ICQ. work individually, peers feedback then W/C FB.
Set Ex 2 p35, handout the activity, give instructions and use ICQ, listen to the record again, n groups FB then W/C FB.
