I will talk about some diseases to introduce the topic of the lesson

Focus on meaning (10-12 minutes) • Vocabulary,Reading and speaking

I'm going to illustrate a good combination of adjective and noun. Also, students will find some proper collocations like suitable present

Pre-reading¬ & Gist (10-12 minutes) • To provide students to scan and find the answer as fast as they can

I'm going to show them the title of the article and they should guess where this context comes from or what that is about also I will ask them how much they know about three mentioned diseases

Reading for detail (14-16 minutes) • Reading

Give Ss time to read more slowly and complete the task

Deducing Meaning from Context (8-10 minutes) • Reading, vocabulary

Ss work together to find words in the text to match the definitions in ex 3

Post¬-reading • Speaking, Vocabulary

Ss read the statements in ex 4 and decide which words they would choose to show their opinions.
