Procedure (40-40 minutes)
Warmer/Lead-in (5-5 minutes) • To set lesson context and engage students
Talk about your favourite holiday ever.
Test #1 (5-5 minutes) • To gauge students' prior knowledge of the target language
Diagnostic fill in the spaces.
Teach (10-10 minutes) • To clarify areas of the target language where students had difficulty in the first test stage
Explain usage.
Controlled Practice (10-10 minutes) • Check students' use of the target language again and compare with the first test
Follow prompts and speak accordingly.
Free practice (10-10 minutes) • To provide students with free practice of the target get language
