To provide gist and detailed listening practice using a text about using money in the context of money
Procedure (28-45 minutes)
Teacher will play a video about some facts related to money to get the students attention about the topic.
Students will match the words in the box with their meaning then check in pairs then check with the teacher.
Teacher will show the students pictures and try to elicit their meaning then check the meaning then drill the pronunciation.
Teacher will play a song and students will have to fill the gabs in the lyrics by the words in the box. Teacher will play the record again to answer 3 questions about the song.
Teacher will ask the students if i gave 1 million$ what would you do with it? then they gonna write down their dreams then present it to the other students and make a small discussion about each student dream.
