Description

In this lesson student will learn about future forms through test-teach-teat.this lesson starts with a discussion about the Easter. this is followed by a test that activate and determine their prior knowledge about the future forms. then their will be the teach part through a quick presentation and using the student's book analysis. Finally there will be an activity which work as a control practice, then after giving them the feedback I'll move to the free practice by making them solve the second activity in the student's book

Abc white board,colored markers, self made task

Main Aims

  • To provide clarification of future forms in the context of the Easter day

Subsidiary Aims

  • To provide accuracy speaking practice in a conversation in the context of Easter day

Procedure

Warmer/Lead-in (3-5 minutes) • To set lesson context and engage students and to activate their prior knowledge about the lesson

Interring classroom with a smile greeting the Ss. Then, I'll ask them about the usual activities that people practice at the Easter. After receiving their answers I'll ask them to discuss with their partners what are they going to do at the Easter.

Test #1 (5-8 minutes) • To gauge students' prior knowledge of the target language

first I'll give them an activity to answer telling them to end it together in 5 minutes. after this I'll give them another activity that is going to work as a feedback, it will be in 5 minutes also. at the end of this stage I'll ask them if they have any questions then I'll answer it.

Teach (8-10 minutes) • To clarify areas of the target language where students had difficulty in the first test stage

It will be through using the board I'll explain for them what they miss through the last teat and their weakness points and a general teaching about the future forms

Test #2 (3-5 minutes) • Check students' use of the target language again and compare with the first test

I'll let them to answer the first practice part at the student's book then I'll ask them to check their answers together

Free practice (13-15 minutes) • To provide students with free practice of the target language

I'll ask them to answer the second part at the practice part in the student's book
