Teacher will teach the students about the contractions and it's definition which is a word made by shortening and combining two words. Words like can't (can + not), don't (do + not), and I've (I + have) are all contractions and also ('s) = has in present perfect but can also be (is) or possessive ('s) and write an example on the board: He's been to Japan = He visited japan and came back. He's gone to Japan = He's in Japan now. Before typing the meaning of each sentence make the students guess the meaning first.
Students will solve 8 questions about the writing the contractions of has/have in the positive or negative form.
