Procedure

Warmer/Lead-in (10 minutes) • To set lesson context and engage students

Write up on WB words describing integrity. PW to discuss each characteristic. Elicit from WC relevance to individuals and banking industry.

Clarification (10 minutes) • To gauge students' prior knowledge of the target language

Write up Wikipedia definition of financial regulation. Pairs to consider the aims of regulators. "What are the reasons for implementing rules & guidelines? What do you want to achieve?" Write up 4 goals from sheet.

Test #1 & Teach (10 minutes) • To clarify areas of the target language where students had difficulty in the first test stage

Unit 23, Vocab 1 - Pg 106/7 1 - 6 PW & WC to confirm

Exposure (10 minutes) • Check student's understanding of resulting negative consequences

Conflict of Interest: Write up definition on WB Pairs to discuss Pg 106 Reading (d) + consider potential problems and solutions WC to discuss

Language Focus (20 minutes) • To concept check and correct where necessary the use of suffixes and prefixes
