  • To provide fluency speaking practice in a conversation in the context of personal information, at a reception desk and in a bar

Subsidiary Aims

  • To provide gist and specific information listening practice using a text about dialogues at a hotel in the context of dialogues at the reception, in a bar, in the room
  • To provide gist and scan reading practice using a text about email about a tour in London in the context of information about a tour

Procedure

Warmer/Lead-in (10-10 minutes) • To set lesson context and engage students

I will ask you some questions to check you level. S will answer the questions about general everyday topic and familiar situations. Where are you from? Where do you live? Are you married or single? Can you tell me about your family? Do you like your town? What do you like about it? What don't you like about it? What interesting places are there in Irpin? What do you do in your free time? Do you like travelling? What countries did you visit last week? What did you do there? Do you have any special dates this week? What will you do? Are you going to buy any presents for him?
