Description

In this lesson, SS will learn some vocabulary concerning family members with the help of a photo and a listening. First, they listen for the gist and another time for specific information. Next, we move on to subject pronouns and possessive adjectives. After they fill in the chart and read the rules there's a controlled practice related to the grammar. Finally, Ss are asked to write about their family members and their partners ask them some questions as a free practice AND then write about one of their partner's family members. In case I have time, I can play a game with them- I ask them to describe a person without mentioning his name and the other partner should guess the name. In this game Ss can use some parts of the grammar.
