Description

In this lesson, students learn about the adjectives. The starts with a discussion about how they can describe their colleagues, then an activity to guess who in the pictures as a warm-up. This is followed by new vocabularies about "feelings" and listening how to pronounce it. Finally, there are some controlled practices and free practice as a speaking activity.

Procedure

Saluting the Ls (1-2 minutes) • To start the lesson

T will enter the class and say hello to the learners.

Warmer/Lead-in (3-5 minutes) • To set lesson context and engage students

T will ask a question like : How can you describe your colleague?

Gist task (2-3 minutes) • To ensure that Ls are comfortable with the previous stage

T will ask the Ls to read the description and to look at the pictures to guess who are they?

pair check (1-2 minutes) • To break the ice between the Ls

T will ask the Ls to work in pairs.

Feed back (1-2 minutes) • To be sure if the lesson clear to them

T will review the answers to the Ls

Exposure (8-10 minutes) • To provide a model of production expected in coming tasks

T will use pictures to clarify the meaning of the lexis of the lesson in an easier way
