In pairs sts read the text again and fill the gaps. A feedback follows
The teacher shows a few sentences with can/ could/ be able to in the board. Then, teacher asks CCQ's like Can I say: I was can to do this? to elicit the form of TL. Then the teacher elicits the sentence stress in the target language and drills for pronunciation.
First in pairs and then in groups, Ss do the speaking activity on p 35
