In this lesson, students learn about simple future (be going to-predictions). This lesson will start with the picture of a fortune teller. and from this a marker sentence is going to be elicited. then intensive grammar exercise. Finally the lecture will end in speaking.

Procedure

Over Head Projector Picture (3-5 minutes) • A picture of a fortune teller is going to be shown to elicit the grammar of the day, to make them clear about simple future

Exposure to marker sentence (8-10 minutes) • To provide a model of the task and highlight the marker sentence

It is thought that in today's lesson any pre vocabulary teaching is not needed. Doing some backchaining, and making more sentences, negative form, positive form etfc

Working the grammar with the whole class (7-8 minutes) • To check if students mastered the skills yet

A picture of Uncle Sam with asking some questions using the simple future will be shown using over head projector, and individual answers are going to be taken. while doing so giving feedback and making their understanding more deep.

Intensive individual task (6-8 minutes) • To test their knowledge learned previously

A handout will be distributed and five minutes are given to complete it, and the early finishers are going to be nominated to the white board and write their answers.
