In this lesson,students will learn some vocabulary while engaging in students focused activities related to the holidays and customes.The lesson will start by showing pictures of some traditions.After doing some activities student will work in pairs,and actuallythey will learn grammar about adjective clause.

Main Aims

To provide clarification of Holiday words in the context of setting off fireworks or praying and etc.

Subsidiary Aims

To provide clarification and practice of speaking in the context of customes of countries.

Procedure (44-23 minutes)

Lead in (7-8 minutes) • To set lesson context and engage students

This is lead in activity to activate the class and engage Ss.Introduce vocabulary by showing picture and eliciting,asking some question which related to the topic.

Exposure (10 minutes)

At this stage , due to the fact I will play a video clip about a woman that she went to abroad in holiday to encourage their information about topic,then they write new word and in group they compare them.

Controlled practice (12-15 minutes) • Highlighting and clarification

I will take an exam in order to increasing new word. actually first they should have review them in a pair group.They have to write a text about holiday.

Free practice (15 minutes)

Ss will write a text about their custome then in a group read their text and their partner should describe their partner text.
