Elementary A2 level
By the end of this lesson ss should have learned and retained the vocabulary they have gone through within the lesson.
To provide tasks and exercises that will include listening.
Procedure (31-45 minutes)
Show the ss a well- known families photo and go through it with the ss ask the ss some questions and do concept checks.
Will be asking students quesions on their families and ask ss to discuss their families with each other in pair work ( pw)
Ask the ss to complete the diagram in the book on exercise 1 on their own and than go through the aswers with the ss once compeleted ask the students to complete exercise 2 and check each others answers together.
ss will listen to the recording for the exercise 3 and compelete the names on the family tree provided in the book, and will do conecpt check on tricky words.
will be talking to the ss about my family tree and hand out a copy of my family tree, than I will hand out an empty family tree format and the ss will fill it in and ask the ss to ask eacher about who they are and I will be monitoring the ss and do some feedback.
will give instruction to students to talk to each other about their families where I will be showing them the example in the book on pg 12 exercise 5
