In this lesson, SS will be engaged in S focused grammar building exercises, receptive skill development by listening for specific information. And then after aims are achieved, work on productive skills by writing.

Procedure

Warmer (3-5 minutes) • To get the students attention

-Teacher will show pictures of different places -Teacher will elicit the name of the countries -Teacher will provide help of needed

Lead-in (5-8 minutes) • To contextualize the topic and engage the learners

-Teacher will keep showing the pictures -Teacher will handout activity 2-b -Teacher will set the activity (Listen and choose a word from the box to fill in the caption) -Teacher will set the students in pairs -Teacher will play the sound clip 2 times -Teacher will nominate the students to the whiteboard to solve the activity

Test#1 (7-10 minutes) • To test the students background knowledge about the topic

-Teacher uses the words in box to highlight "Superlatives" -Teacher names the groups according to their favorite color and animal -Teacher write the groups names on the board and tell them it's a compition -Teacher set test #1 in groups (5 min) -Teacher collects papers and mark it and give each team a grade -Teacher reward the winning team

Teach (8-10 minutes) • To provide clarification, review and practice of Superlatives

-Teacher will go through a clear explanation to the superlatives; meaning and form

Test#2 (10-15 minutes) • To test what the learners had just learnt

-Teacher will regroup the students using the colored papers -Teacher will use each color to name each each group -Teacher will write each team's name on the board -Teacher will set test#2 with more challenges (Write a sentence using thew word) (10 min) -Teacher collects the tests mark and grade each team -Teacher will reward the winning team
