Procedure

Warmer/Lead-in (3-5 minutes) • To set lesson context and engage students

T and Ss play a game. T will say a name of people some of them are famous and ask Ss to stand up when they here a name they know. ICQs: Will you stand up when you hear a name you don't know? The names "Amr Diab, Magdy Yaakop, Alsayed Saad, Mahfouz, " T asks Ss why all of you know " Amr Diab "? as an example of a famous man.

Highlighting (3-5 minutes) • To draw students' attention to the target language

set ex 1 in the grammar : T gives the Ss the sentences first to read them, then give them the text to read and complete the sentences from it. I: here are two papers, In this one there are not complete sentences, read them then read the text to complete them. ICQs: Do you have any complete sentences here? "No" Do you read the text first? CCQs: Is there is another diamond has the same size?"No, it's the biggest' CCQs: by acting :) T: Superlative adjectives used to compare between 3 or more things to describe that this thing 2nd Sentence: CCQs: Do you need a little amount of money to buy a Ferrari car? "No"

Clarification of the form (3-5 minutes) • To provide clarification of the form of the target language.

1st sentence : CCQs: where the adjective here? " the fastest". what is the main adjective?"fast" what is the difference between them"fast and fastest"? " -the before the main adjective and -est before it." T: so the adjectives used to describe too much thing. Form is : the + main adjective + est . 2 nd sentence: CCQS: where the superlative adjective here? " the biggest". what is the main adjective?"big" what is the difference between the main and the superlative adjectives? the before the adjective, double " g ", and add - est. Is "G" consonant or vowel "? " consonant". Is "i" constant or vowel? vowel. T: So when the adjective ends with vowel then constant we have to double the last letter, then add -est.

Clarification of the pronunciation (2-3 minutes) • To provide clarification of the pronunciation of the target language.

Controlled Practice (5-5 minutes) • To concept check and prepare students for more meaningful practice

I: Here we have 4 questions, in everyone the adjective is put between " ", change it to the superlative adjective, and then listen and choose the correct answer . ICQs: Do you will answer the questions then change the form of the adjective? "No, change it first" T answer the first one as an example. T asks Ss to check their answers in pairs. T play the audio and ask the student to check their answers. T gives feedback.

Free Practice (5-8 minutes) • To provide students with free practice of the target language

T gives the Ss some Qs about their town and ask them to answer. I: Here we have 4 Qs about your town answer them. ICQs:okay? T asks Ss to set as a group to discuss their answer. I: now discuss your answers together. T give feedback by asking Ss about the other students.
