To provide clarification of Wedding in the context of Bride, Groom,church etc
To provide accuracy speaking practice in a coversation in the context of Marriage and wedding ceremonıes
Procedure (31-43 minutes)
some random pictures will be shown on the board and I will point at them and ask Ss if they know them or not
I will explain each word using pictures also I will focus on pronunciation.After that I will give task 1 which is a matching exercise.It can be done as a group activity as well.Ss will be divided into two groups and asked to match the pictures with words.It shows if they have learned the vocabulary or not
Task 2 includes vocabulary that Ss might not know so before giving them I will pre-teach the vocabulary using pictures again .Also I focus on words function in the sentence.
Again Ss will be divided into two groups and be given two different tasks but the same vocabulary. They can help each other and after doing it they will check the answer with the other group.
There are some prepared questions that Ss can use but it is essential that the conversation is natural so they can talk ask questions about a family member or a friend's wedding.
