In this lesson .Ss will practice speaking and listening for information .Ss will listen to Marina talking about her life and try to write the numbers. Ss are going to talk about their lives ,Ss could write some simple notes about their lives ,.the lesson will start with a warm up exercise with small and short discussion ,then they move to listen for gist and answer ex 2 After that I will tell Ss to talk about their lives ,I will help Ss to talk I will delay simple correction to encourage them to talk, they will work in pairs

Main Aims

Procedure

Warmer/Lead-in (3-5 minutes) • To set lesson context and engage students

T write on the board ,,tell me your life story ?i will show them a chart has some useful language to use . Ex .i was born in ….damitta\i went to school in damitta\as child I loved playing tennis\i became interested in English \i graduated in 2000

Exposure (8-10 minutes) • To provide a model of production expected in coming tasks through reading/listening

Give Ss handout with some pictures Ask them to look at the pictures i.what can you see? ICQ….T did you order the pictures? T…..Ss you can make some notes about their lives I will let them see the pictures and write about their lives When they are writing. I monitor T ask Ss to work in pairs in two every one tell information about his life to his partner -I will chang the partner to make some movement in class and avoid boring -when I am monitoring I will choose the best one in speaking to talk about his life in the class - to make sure they work in pair .I can ask every one to tell me about his partner. I will ask is he married?\was he born in damitta?when he was child did he like music?when did he graduate?what is his or her job?

Useful Language (8-10 minutes) • To highlight and clarify useful language for coming productive tasks

Set Ex 2page66 ss read the question before listening Set Ss for listening ,play the track .Ss listen and write the number It is module 7 recording 11 Ai was born in 1978…… If I see the recording was fast I will wait to make them under stand Ss peer check their answers. T monitor and see if there are any problems and may be play the track again if problems were found ANSWERS A-3 …….B-1……….C-2……….D-6………E-4………F-5

Productive Task(s) (18-20 minutes) • To provide an opportunity to practice target productive skills

I will have some pictures represent live Ask learners again to give me more detail about their lives T ….now I want you to tell you partner more information you didn’t give him in the first time. Like … In ……..I started work as a……….- I got married in …….. I went to work in ……. I travelled to ….in …….. I will ask them to draw three or four pictures represent their lives I will ask them to share their pictures with their partners I will let them talk freely I will encourage some of them to talk about their lives Names \age\work\ family\intersts\...... Monitor and record any errors to deal with them
