Description

In this week, students practice English for fluency with some spelling exercises, in addition, they follow their other activities which are related to Smart stars edition, plus some entertaining activities ( video songs - games, etc)

Procedure

Warmer/Lead-in (15-20 minutes) • To set lesson context and engage students

(Lesson 11- 6A): T Checks out children's shoes to see who has laces and who doesn't and lines children up opposite their shoes. Create a race to see which child can get their shoes on the fastest. (Lesson 12 - 6B): "https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KM-1WApbEsU" children watch Peppa Pig Fancy Dress Party and T discusses how children think each character decided on what costume to wear (Lesson 13 - 7A): T demonstrates making a fruit cocktail with fresh fruit and juice Puting ingredients in a jug - or - ask children to draw several different kinds of fruits on a sheet of paper and color them. (Lesson 14 7B): T draws 5 kinds of fruits on board and numbers them 1-5, children on an individual sheet of paper draw their favorite fruit and put "tick" beside it. T matches children's papers with the drawings on the board to vote wich fruit is the most loved one.

Productive Task(s) (18-20 minutes) • To provide an opportunity to practice target productive skills

6A: Children cut out the shoes and decide which ones they would like to wear in each situation. They share their choices with a partner, who comments on each choice. Children make the envelope and stick it to their file together with the cards and cut the main grid in half before sticking it to the file. children then watch video song "tie your shoe" (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=76HTNJGF2ro) 6B: Children cut out and fold the flap overbook. The folding must be done in the correct order to follow the story and read the story as learners follow in their books. Practice repeating the phrases together. *** "If" possible, T can have a fancy dress party at a future date*** 7A: children cut out the grid and place it on the desk fruits facing up. They cut out the cards and place them to the side. Read the sentences on the back of the grid for learners to place the cards in the correct place. Allow learners time to work in pairs instructing their partners to place cards. Then they cut out the envelope and glue it onto their file together with the fruit grid. After finishing, if there is still time available- children listen to preposition video song : (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8F0NYBBKczM) 7B: children cut out the voting slips and graph charts. They use the voting slips for a mock election. As votes are counted learners mark out each vote in the correct place on the graph. after finishing the activity, children watch voting video song (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DkeGCa7lBNs)
