Description

In this session students will review the grammar rules thought in last two sessions and this is going to be done through a task which includes writing activity.

Materials

Procedure

Warmer/Lead-in (3-5 minutes) • To set lesson context and engage students

A table will be presented on the board including different items related to travel planning and they are asked to brainstorm about the activity.

Exposure (8-10 minutes) • To provide a model of the task and highlight useful grammar

Regarding each items of the table one or two sentence shall be mentioned and the students will help in providing these examples in away that for each item one student shall go to the board and write one the given example on the table.

Task (8-10 minutes) • To provide an opportunity to practice target productive skills

students will be divided in small groups and each groups will have a map of Iran. They will be asked to talk in their groups and write a report about the travel they arrange for me. I will ask each group what information they need from you in order to plan the perfect trip. This might include the number of days you wish to travel, your budget and what you like to do while on the road or in your free time.

Report (6-8 minutes) • To allow students to share what they have done

from each group one student will be selected to read what they have planned and other students will listen. Once all groups have shared their reports the students will be asked one plan as the perfect of all and they gonna mention what is so special about the plan.

Language Practice (0-0 minutes) • To provide students with assignment of the writting skill

The students are asked to write a short postcard home, telling some key points of one day of the trip
