Description

In this lesson students will listen to a tap recorder about some celebrities things that they are love it and hate it. students will know about some new vocab such like (clown_spider_doll_crown). students will reflect their character by things they love, fear, and hate.

Main Aims

  • To provide specific information listening practice using a text about loves and hates in the context of students will be able to focus on specific information about celebrities from tap record

Subsidiary Aims

  • To provide scan reading practice using a text about loves and hates in the context of read new words from the lesson and know about their position in sentences. also to read a short passage about a character and answer some question which refer of their read

Procedure

Warmer/Lead-in (3-5 minutes) • listing

talk about a 2 personal situation that represent your love and hate, after that show students that we have things we lone and other things that we hate so they will began to think what they will study today.. then show the topic title on board.

new vocab drilling (5-7 minutes) • speaking

describe new vocab to students and let them guess the word , after that drill it and write it on board. new words: spider doll crowd clown fly housework

While-Reading/Listening #1 (3-5 minutes) • reading

give students instructions by using simple words to give them the chance to match words to pictures , then give them chance to work in pairs checking answers and finally give them the correct feedback

While-Reading/Listening #2 (5-10 minutes) • listing

let students listen to a recorder which talking about some celebrities love/hate things then ask students to listen carefully while looking to questions , and tick to things they like and write cross on things they hate work in pairs to check answers. feedback "repeat the recorder if it needed"

while-Reading/Listening (5-10 minutes) • To provide with an opportunity to respond to the text and expand on what they've learned

give students a written text and ask students to read and answer individually then give them the chance to work in pairs and check their answers, give them clear feedback

post listing/reading (5-7 minutes) • listing

show a short video and ask each one of them to write the correct number of hate and love things then make them work in pairs , and finally give them feedback while playing the video again.

task#3 (3-5 minutes) • post reading

give clear instructions and ask students to write the correct answer in pairs + clear feedback
