Procedure

Warmer/Lead-in (3-5 minutes) • To set lesson context and engage students

T shows the image "jobs" T: WHO ARE THEY?(NURSE,DOCTOR, SECRETARY, ENGINEER, MANAGER)

Exposure (8-10 minutes) • To provide a model of production expected in coming tasks through reading/listening

T shows the handout " match the words with their meanings" T: LOOK AT THE WORDS AND THEIR MEANINGS MATCH THEM WORK IN PAIRS ICQ: WHAT DO YOU DO? T reveals the key: 1-E, 2-C, 3-D, 4-A, 5-B, 6-H, 7-J, 8-F, 9-G, 10-I T drills the pronunciation T gives the handout "Jobs"
