Evaluating art
Upper-intermediate, B2 level

Description

In this lesson, students learn functional language of evaluating through the context of "auctioned art". In connection with the previous lesson, students try to notice some phrases that have been used in that lesson's listening. They are introduced to some other expressions apart from the ones in the listening. Then through visuals or art works they brainstorm the works' value using the introduced expressions. Moreover, they do a roleplay activity where they further practise these expressions. As the final exercise of the lesson, they do a fill-in the blanks exercise.
