To provide product writing practice of a some points or some ideas in the context of traveling in order to help them in the designing of the tour that they will be talking about
Procedure (45-55 minutes)
# ask the students about their favorite trip or tour or the the one they cannot forget #what they did in it # they were children s or adults how old are they in this trip ? # give the students 3 minutes to discuss in these questions in pairs .
#listen carefully to the track try to take notes about the main ideas in designing tour . #work in pairs and choose one of the options in EX 1 and design a tour similar to the one in the recording . #answer EX.b discuss in pairs in more details the same tour you designed like * how long it will be ? *how many days will be spent in each place ? * the best way to travel from place to place ? *the main things to see in each place ?
# discuss in pairs in EX.2 which is how yo describe your tour plan together #ready to answer any question if they asked . #try to make the students use phrases in ( useful language ) part a&b make a clarification if they need . #discuss in EX.3 by switching their places and trying to explain their tour to each other. # try to make them use phrases in ( useful language ) part c .
# do the writing task individually describing what will happen in their tours giving more details like : what will happen in each day ? # then switch the papers with each others and read each others tours to see whose sounds the most interesting ? # give some comments about their ideas .
# collect the mistakes in every stage by monitoring even in speaking or in writing . # give them feedback and error correction to their mistakes . # discuss their mistakes on the board if its necessary .
