in this lesson, students will learn about diffrent valentine's day traditions in the context of Japan and South korea through listening to a track in 2 min. At first, teacher has a short lead in about the previous session which is about tag questions. Then she will ask some related questions orally about valentine's day in their own country and elicit some information to engage them with the subject. Next, she will ask students to answer some personal questions through writing on a piece of paper. Now some vulenteer to talk about what she or he wrote. teacher will hand out some paper which contain one chart and one question among students and ask them to answer the questin while they are listening to the track. teacher will play the audio for the second time and then students should do the chart. At this time, students should share their information with their partners through pair work. Now answers will check in the class.

Main Aims

  • • To provide specific information listening practice using a text about valentine'sday tradition in the context of Japan and South Korea

  • To provide fluency and accuracy speaking practice in a discussion in the context of their own country

Warmer/Lead-in (3-5 minutes) • To set lesson context and engage students

the class will start with a short review of the previous lesson which is related to the new topic.then she will try to engage students with expressing some intresting she will attract their attention toward some pictures on a powerpoint slid

Exposure (8-10 minutes) • To provide a model of the task and highlight useful words and phrases

teacher will explain some information about valentine's day in other countries and elicit some information from students. next she will talk about some specific words such as black day, white day. Then she ask them to listen carefully to the audio .

Task (8-10 minutes) • To provide an opportunity to practice target productive skills

teacher will hand out some excersice sheet among students should listen to the audio for the second time and answer the questions on the paper while they are listening to the track

Planning (6-8 minutes) • To provide an opportunity to plan students' reports

in this stage students must share their answers with their partners and have a short pair work about the interview in the track

Report (6-8 minutes) • To allow students to report on how they did the task and how it went

Now, teacher will let students to say what they did and students should check their questions and answers with theteacher in class

Language Practice (8-10 minutes) • To provide students with practice of the task language

in order to make sure that students have learned the lesson, teacher will provide a situation that students could talk about their own ideas. students can talk about valentine's day in their own countries and their own experiences in a form of discussion
