Procedure (44-58 minutes)
I will show them a picture of a family including parents and children and write the names and relationship
In this part I will practice the listening part, we will listen to the CD and Ss will repeat after that,I will also explain the pronunciation of every word.
In this part I will give them an exercise, the Ss need to fill in the blanks with the correct word. This task gives them a chance to know whether they learned or not.This stage can be done as a group activity too.The students will be divided to some groups and each group will be given a worksheet. The one that fills the gaps faster is the winner.
In this stage I will be explaining possessive S.First I will show some things that are mine to show the belonging for example Maral's book; or Zelal's mobile. Then I will explain the grammar and the pronunciation;after that I will give them task one to practice both vocabulary and 's. This task can be done as pair work and the students can correct each other.
In this stage I will give the Ss more exercises to practice because possessive S is a difficult subject for beginners.I will give them task 6; they need to make sentences and this helps them to practice both grammar and vocabulary.
In this stage task 8 will be given to the Ss; it's a listening practice; they need to listen to a woman talking about her family and answer some questions.This task show them how to apply what the have already learned in the conversation.
In this stage the Ss will be asked some questions about their family; for example how many brothers and sisters do you have;what is his\her name;etc to make them to talk
