Procedure

Warmer/Lead-in (3-5 minutes) • To set lesson context and engage students

T: ARZU, TELL ME, WHAT IS DEVRIM LIKE?( SHE WILL DESCRIBE TALL....) BEFORE YOU LEARN WHAT DOES DEVRIM LOOK LIKE? THE QUESTION IS ABOUT.......?(PHYSICAL APPEARANCE, LOOK) NOW YOU LEARN PERSONALITY ADJECTIVES. WE ASK THE QUESTION WHAT IS HE LIKE? OR WHAT KIND OF PERSON IS HE? WE LEARN THE PERSON'S PERSONALITY.

Exposure (8-10 minutes) • To provide a model of the task and highlight useful words and phrases

T writes on the board " What is she like?( ask the person's personality)" T: EREN, TELL ME WHAT DO YOU THINK ABOUT "STUDENT", CEM YILMAZ? T displays the images of "personality" T drills the pronunciation T: LOOK AT PICTURE ON PAGE 34 ARE THEY POSITIVE WORDS OR NEGATIVE WORDS? WRITE YOUR PERSONALITY USING THESE WORDS. T ask the students to read what they write. T points at the star signs and ask T: WHAT ARE THESE SIGNS?(STAR SIGN) WHICH IS THE FIRST ONE?(ARIES) LOOK AT THE PERSONALITY ADJECTIVES CIRCLE THE NEGATIVE ADJECTIVES. WORK IN PAIRS ICQ; WHAT DO YOU DO? T reveals the key: stubborn, selfish, bossy, lazy, jealous T: WHAT IS YOUR STAR SIGN "NAMES A STUDENT" T reads the personality adjectives for the student and asks T IS IT TRUE? T: GET ON- YOU HAVE A GOOD FRIEND. YOU ARE GOOD FRIENDS, NOT FIGHTING, HAVE SAME HOBBIES AND INTERES. WHAT DO YOU SAY YOU HAVE A GOOD RELATIONSHIP T writes on the board " I get on well with Jake.
