The teacher will show the students a picture of Gina, and he will ask the students some general questions to refresh their memory of the text and its general idea. Then the teacher will write some general questions on the board and asks the Ss to work on their answers orally in pairs. ICQ: Should you talk about your interests? Should you write your answers?

Exposure (8-10 minutes) • To provide context for the target language through a text or situation

The teacher will give a HO to the students containing the text they had already gone through and some gap-fill questions which are in the same SB after the text and asks them to fill the gaps individually by looking at the complete sentences in the text. ICQ: Should you write or circle the answer? Should you answer them with your information or the information in the text? Should you do it in pairs or individually? Then the Ss check their answers in pairs and finally, the teacher will check the answers with the WC.

Highlighting (1-2 minutes) • To draw students' attention to the target language

The teacher will write the marker sentence on the board and try to elicit the meaning and usage of pronouns and possessives.

Clarification (5-8 minutes) • To clarify the meaning, form and pronunciation of the target language

The teacher will circle some words, in the marker sentence, referring to the focused grammar which is pronouns and possessives and elicit the function of a pronoun that takes the place of a noun in a sentence by writing the correct pronouns under the circled ones. After that, the teacher will draw a table on the board containing some bits of the target grammar and asks the students to complete the chart in groups and then the WC feedback will be prompted.

Controlled Practice (6-8 minutes) • To concept check and prepare students for more meaningful practice

ICQ: Should you write your name? Should you talk to two people? Should you write three objects? A feedback will be given by asking the students to share the gist of their conversations.

If-time activity (3-5 minutes)

If time allows the Ss can write their favorite belonging on a slip of paper, fold it and throw it in a jar and after mingling one slip is picked on the Ss should guess whose it is.
