Procedure

Warmer/Lead-in (3-5 minutes) • to give awareness to students about topic

in this lead in students will be asked their opinion about computers, for e.g are computers necessary for everyone, should old people and young use it.

Pre-Listening (3-4 minutes) • To prepare students for the tasks

show some pictures of an old woman who is working on the computer.ask them what do you think we are going to listen about.

Listening for gist (5-6 minutes) • To prepare students for litsening

students will listen to the text.the teacher provides students with a handout to every student. Take feedback from them just checking with some icqs.

Definition (3-4 minutes) • Focus on meaning.

Ask students in pairs to do Question 2a. Take their feedback for answers. Teacher then will tell the correct answers for the questions

Grammar/ Pronunciation (5-6 minutes) • Focus on form

Teacher asks learners to do question 2b.1 as a class then play recording 1.16 again to check as a class. Then students are also to do question 2b.2.

Controlled Practice (6-8 minutes) • to get them aware of topic

Get the students to use their own thinking to complete sentences from question 3 and then compare them. Students will then do question 4 to improve more understanding.

Speaking Practice (8-12 minutes) • Improve fluency

Lastly, in questions, 5 & 6 each individual will share their story and think about the use of so and such while also discussing it with others
