Description
In this lesson SS will do skill development exercises by listening for the gist and will learn specific words about city life when the aims are accomplished productive skills will be improved with group activities.
Materials
Main Aims

By the end of lesson specific listening practice from a context will be provided including vocabulary such as ''interesting,difficult,friendly''
Subsidiary Aims

By the end of lesson,the SS will be able to work on their oral fluency and use the vocabulary which they have learned on their listening practice.
Procedure
Stage 1 (Lead in) • To introduce and make the lesson interesting
-Project picture of London -Asking questions Which city is this ? Has anyone been there before ? Why would you go there ? -Work in pairs.
Stage 2 ( Listening&match the vocab) • Provide new vocabulary that SS can use in the exercises that will be provided
Fill the gap in the exercises Pracitce new vocabulary Using adjectives
Stage 3 (Listening& put words in order) • To provide a monitored listening practice
SS will try to understand key words SS will work on word order
Stage 4 ( Writing) • to practice new vocabulary
SS will use adjectives they have learned SS will improve their writing skills.
