Procedure

Stage 1 (15 minutes) • Warmer/ Lead in

Greetings. Ask the students to look the picture on the wall. Show them the strips of names that you have and do the demo of 1st picture. Distribute the strips to the ss. Give instructions- You have to stick the strip on the correct picture. ICQ- What do you have to do? Ans- Stick the strip on the correct picture. This activity should take 5- 10 minutes. Part (b) Elicit form the pictures. CCQ Look at that picture. Point out the picture of girl with short hair. What kind of hair she has? She's got short hair. Write on the Interactive white board. She's got short hairs. Ask - She is or She has? Write to show them. She is or she has? Anticipated ans- She has. Very good. Is it now or forever? Anticipated ans- Forever. Good. So what does this show? It is look. Do the drill exercise by showing finger counting. She has got short hair and she's got short hair

Stage 2 (10-15 minutes) • Grammar concept of present simple tense

In continuation of stage 1 now go the grammar aspect of the sentence. Write the form of the sentence. Subject+ has got+ adjectives+ object. Ask the student to copy this. Now make the pairs of the students. Take a zipper and ask the students to pick one piece from it. SS will one colored piece each and the same colored piece will make a pair of the students. Ask them to sit together with their random selected partners. Do the demo. You speak one sentence from the pictures like- What does number 2 wears? He wears Kandura. What color is it? It is white. Ask the students to do the same. Ask their partner. What she's got? What he wears? Speaking activity (sub aim) part (b) Monitor them properly. Do the error correction immediately.

Stage 3- Fashion Show. (10-12 minutes) • Live commentary using Simple Present tense.

Since its d last class for me with you all today, let us do something do memorable today. Are you all ready for it? Yes or No? Alright. I'll take the mike in my hand, Alright..Ill go in the centre n say- Welcome to the British Council Fashion Show. Are you ready to be a part of this show? Yes..Okkk...Great... So lets begin. Now I would like to call Manuel to come here and be a part of this show. He will come and Ill play the music. Play the background music- https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=g3w_zYWHGVM He will do bit of walking and show some attitude. Then Ill do the demo. Speak spontaneously. We have all the lovely people around. We have very handsome Manuel who's got Brown eyes. He's got light brown hairs. He' got beard. He is wearing white shirt and slim fit grey trousers. Who wants to come here now? Queteba? Yasin? Rim? Call some names of the students. If they hesitate, then call Sunita after thanking Manuel and sending him back. Then Ill walk a bit and ask Sunita to say few things like what I m wearing, what's my appearance. This was a demo for the students. Students will come win pair form. One will walk a bit or stand as per their comfort zone. Next student will hold the mike and speak in the same way.

Stage 4 • Further grammar practise- Writing

Show them the chart on power point I've prepared. Give the demo. Distribute the chart to the ss. Ask them to complete the chart. This will take 3-5 minutes. They will complete the chart now. This will take 2-3 minutes. Leftover minutes can be used as feedback. End the Lesson. Say Thank you. All the Best. Bye.
