Procedure (45-55 minutes)
As it is the first lesson, teacher asks students to introduce themsleves one by one. teacher points out that it is important to be coherent and insists on the smooth flow of ideas (the need to follow steps in intricing oneself ) and introduces the video students are going to watch
Teacher asks students to watch the video teachers asks students about the three main parts mentioned Tasks Stds to draw a circle on their copybooks with the three main parts.
teacher highlights useful language used and writes examples on the board. Teacher mentions that Stds usually confuse I am + age / I have+ age and the diffrence between I live in and I come from
teacher asks students to write sentences introducing themselves following the model Teacher divides the class into pairs (std A asks std B to introduce him/herself )
teacher picks pronuciation mistakes / praise good language
