Procedure

Warmer/Lead-in (3-7 minutes) • To set lesson context and engage students

T gives SS the strips of nouns and verbs and asks to match it appropriately.Then T gives charts to each group and asks to stick those strips on the chart appropriately.

Pre-Reading (7-10 minutes) • To prepare students for the text and make it accessible

T shows the pictures of some famous films directed by James Cameron and elicits.T asks ss to guess the content of the text. Then T gives the text and asks to underline difficult words.

While-Reading (5-10 minutes) • To provide students with less challenging gist and specific information reading tasks.

T asks to guess the meanings of underlined words in pairs. Later T pre teaches words. drills the words and sentences with proper stress and intonation by showing the chart of some words T shows some words' slide on the IWB and drills.

While-Reading (5-10 minutes) • To provide students with more challenging detailed, deduction and inference reading/listening tasks

T asks to read the text and fill the gaps. Then T asks to find regular and irregular verbs used in the article in pairs. T drills the words. T elicits how the past simple forms of verb ends in - e (move, love) and the verb ends in -y (study, marry) are formed. T gives proper ICQs. T gives handouts T conducts fly zappers game with words.

Post-Reading/ Speaking (5-8 minutes) • To provide with an opportunity to respond to the text and expand on what they've learned

T gives two jumbled questions in past tense to each pairs and asks to re arrange it. T asks to answer those questions in pairs. t gives CCQs
