While-Reading/Listening #1 (9-10 minutes) • To provide students with less challenging gist and specific information reading/listening tasks

While-Reading/Listening #2 (8-9 minutes) • To provide students with more challenging detailed, deduction and inference reading/listening tasks

SS are divided into 2 groups (A and B). They are given sheets with questions from the the second (St. A) and third (St. B) parts of the interview. They are going to listen to their parts in different classrooms. While listening to Candida's answers, they are supposed to make as many notes as possible. They listen the interviews twice, after which a short group discussion follows. (8 m)

Role-play (8-10 minutes) • To provide SS with FB on listening

When group B comes back, SS are paired A+B. Now they get each other's Qs from the previous task. 1. St A is CANDIDA. St B is a journalist. St B asks Qs, St A answers (they can use their notes) in full sentences. St B writes down St A's answers in full sentences. 2. SS swap their roles.

Post-Reading/Listening (5-7 minutes) • To provide with an opportunity to respond to the text and expand on what they've learned

SS discuss Qs in pairs, then with the whole class. Qs: What should be done to the trash we produce? What do you do with you trash? Do you think you should change something in your habits regarding waste?
