After eliciting, teacher asks what kind of things they can buy in those shops and create a WC discussion to set the context of shopping.

Exposure (8-10 minutes) • To provide a model of production expected in coming tasks through reading/listening

T shows a slide in which a customer buys something in a clothes shop. T elicits the word customer and assistant / shopkeeper through visuals. Then, Ss watch a video and list the things the customer in each dialogue buys. After this, Ss are given an HO with a dialogue watch the video again and complete the prices in the dialogues

Useful Language (5-7 minutes) • To highlight and clarify useful language for coming productive tasks

Ss are given a similar dialogue to the previous one and are asked to fill the blanks with the words in the above box. After this, they practice the dialogue in pairs and take turns in being the customer and the assistant.

Productive Task(s) (10-15 minutes) • To provide an opportunity to practice target productive skills

T calls a student and practices a similar dialogue. T is the customer and the S is the shop assistant. T gives him/her visuals or realia and creates a dialogue. Then, half of the class is split as assistants and customers. Assistants are given realia / pictures and the customers talk to the assistants and buy the things they want in an open practice activity.

Feedback and Error Correction (5-7 minutes) • To provide feedback on students' production and use of language

Teacher writes some of the errors he noticed during monitoring on the board. T asks the Ss to work on the mistakes with their partners. At the end, there is a WC feedback.
