KSA Spends $25.1 Billion Abroad
Advanced level

Description

In this lesson, Ss learn about the how much money different countries spend abroad, as well as how much countries earn from tourism. The lesson starts with some questions about travel and a discussion on favorite countries Ss have been to or want to go to. We will then learn approximately 10 new vocabulary words related to travel. Then I will pre-teach some vocabulary from the article, and have the Ss read the article alone. After they have read the article, I will have them work in pairs and help each other understand difficult words and meanings. We will then come back together and read the article aloud. Finally, there will be some group discussion question regarding developing KSA’s tourism sector, and Ss will work in pairs and 1) select a city a region of KSA that needs to be developed for tourism 2) select a business to develop 3) and then discuss how they will market their business. Homework will be assigned to reinforce vocabulary.
