Main Aims

Ice-break activity (5-8 minutes) • to get ss to know each other and the teacher

-Draw images according capital letters if your name -Ask ss to do the same

Warmer/Lead-in (5-10 minutes) • To set lesson context and engage students

-Show ss the pictures and ask them to discuss about what they see. -Ss works together and make the verb from the pictures. -

Exposure and clarification of new vocabulary (8-10 minutes) • To provide context for the target language through a text or situation

-Clarify the meaning form and pronunciation of new vocabulary about daily life -Remind them they will talk about "our life: with present simple

Highlighting (5-6 minutes) • To draw students' attention to the target language

Give ss HO. Ss match 1-4 to a-d Feedback: Students match the answers on the table.

Clarification (8-10 minutes) • To clarify the meaning, form and pronunciation of the target language

Write the sentence on the board and clarify the Form and Pronunciation of the following sentences. "I always read the book in the evening" It gets hot in summer what do you usually do in your spare time?" -Ss match the adverb of frequency on the board Clarify the form and pronunciation of the adverbs Page-4

Controlled Practice (5-8 minutes) • To concept check and prepare students for more meaningful practice

-Exercise 2 and 3 page 6 -Ex 1 on page 5 (make the questions)

Free Practice (8-10 minutes) • To provide students with free practice of the target language

-Ss ask questions to each other and answer them -Delayed error correction.
