In this lesson,students will about different ways of communications used now and in the past.•This lesson will start with the lead in stage. In this stage, teacher stimulates interest and activates schemata.Teacher uses CCQs to elicit answers.T.writes the title of the unit, Communications, on the board and showing them a picture of means of communication and elicits the meaning.T. asks them to brainstorm a list of ways that people can communicate. T.asks them to think about both speaking and writing.T. writes them on the board. T.asks them which methods of communication they use most often.T.asks which their parents and grandparents use. T.tells them that they are going to find out more about communication in this lesson.This is followed by highlighting the target language and providing clarification of the meaning and pronunciation ofthe target language by using pictures.The lesson will end by some practice.

Procedure

Warmer/Lead-in (3-5 minutes) • To set lesson context and engage students

Language Practice (8-10 minutes) • To provide students with practice of the task language

T asks students to read the passage andand writes which mean of communication each paragraph is talking about.Then T.asks them read the passage again and reorder the means of communication from the oldest to the newest.They work individually,check in pairs and whole class feedback
