The Lost Weekend - Listening
Pre-Intermediate level

Description

In this lesson students will be listening to a story about a man stuck in an elevator over the weekend. I will be pre-teaching vocabulary to unblock key lexis in the pre-listening stage. Students will listen for more in depth knowledge about the use of something, anything, nothing, etc. There will be a variety of interaction patterns including, pair work, group work and individual tasks. In the post-listening stage students will get to use the lexis they learned in the pre-teach to do a speaking task (they will have a chance to work on pronunciation here). Oh and T will be a Living Tape Recorder!
