Short discussion; Aske the students if anyone got lost before when he was young. And ask him/her to speak more in details and how he got back to home and tell them that it is very important to give clear directions then go to task one to complete the directions. If the students do not have any story to tell so I'll narrate one about myself after asking students if they are interested to listen to it.

Give the students handout and make sure that students understand why Partick has written the directions. Give them a few minutes to read and complete the text using the words in the box. Then students check in pairs and then give them the answers on a piece of paper written in the full text and give students a few minutes to check their answers and get feedback.

Attract the students' attention to the new vocabularies and clarify them if they have problems with any of them.

Play a quick guessing game with the students to clarify the meaning and make sure that they have got the meanings of the new vocabularies. I'll act or draw or describe new vocabulary and make the students guess the word. And make sure to clarify the differences between confusing phrases such as; "take a bus..." which means catch a bus. and "it takes..mins" the time or the period.

Give the students hand out includes a matching task. Ask students to read and match. Then check in pairs and then check with the whole class.

First, ask the students to decide where to write directions to. Set a time limit of five minutes to write a paragraph. Then get feedback and correct the mistakes.
