Procedure

Lead-in (3-5 minutes) • To set lesson context and engage students

SS play what if game

Exposure (4-6 minutes) • To provide context for the target language through a text or situation

In 3 groups , ss match the pictures with the sentences and stick them on the board.

Highlighting and clarification (5-7 minutes) • To draw students' attention to the target language and To clarify the meaning, form and pronunciation of the target language

From the sentence that ss have already put on the board , T elicits the form and meaning of the future clauses " if- when- as soon as- before "

Controlled Practice (8-10 minutes) • To concept check and prepare students for more meaningful practice

In 3 groups , ss play the board game, with dices and correct the verbs between brackets

Semi-Controlled Practice (5-7 minutes) • To concept check further and prepare students for free practice

In the same groups , ss match sentences together that are cut into pieces.

Free Practice (10-15 minutes) • To provide students with free practice of the target language

ss choose any toy that T will provide on the table ss imagine they are working this job and report to their group only 2 sentences using the future clauses. T models For example : If T chooses the brush so T can say If I am a barber, I will cut my family's hair for free. Before I become a barber, I will take an international certified course. As soon as I become a barber , I will leave my current job I won't become a barber, unless I have a decent shop. ss imagine sentences using " if- when-as soon as- before -until-unless " ss report in groups T provides feedback if needed
