Procedure

Warmer/Lead-in (3-5 minutes) • To set lesson context and engage students

-T asks students about what they remember about previous lesson. -T elicit answers from students about classroom objects and makes a short review

While-Reading/Listening #1 (16-18 minutes) • To provide students with less challenging gist and specific information reading/listening tasks

-T distributes Ss a text with blanks about classroom objects. -Ss looks at the questions and they become familiar with what they are supposed to do. -T reads the text and want Ss to fill in the blanks with the words they hear. - T reads the text again and Ss complete the activity. -T elicits the correct answers from Ss and write them on the board. -T asks a S to read the whole passage with the correct answers.

While-Reading/Listening #2 (16-18 minutes) • To provide students with more challenging detailed, deduction and inference reading/listening tasks

-Ss are given a question sheet about a text. -Ss looks at the questions and they get familliar with the questions. -T reads the text and asks students to answer questions while listening. -T reads the text again and Ss comlplete the activity. -T elicit answers from the class and write the correct answers on the board.
