Procedure

stage 1 (3-5 minutes) • warm up

greeting. the teacher asks students to arrange the chairs and make groups of 3 members

stage 2 (7-10 minutes) • task D

the teacher asks students to read the rest of the text aloud. T writes the questions on the board and writes the correct answer and explains the reason.

stage 3 (6-8 minutes) • task A

the teacher asks students to open unit 10. teacher says: I've got a red scarf and glasses on my eyes, what do you look like? in groups, students say 2 sentences about their appearance. teacher asks some of students to say their sentences aloud, then she writes the sentences on the board. then teacher asks studensts to look at task A and speak about the appearnce of the people in the picture. then teacher asks the highlited questions.

stage 4 (6-8 minutes) • task B

teacher says: look at task B. what will you do in this task? students explain what they are going to do. the teacher plays the audio file for listening. after finishing, the teacher writes the correct answers on the board.

stage 5 (8-10 minutes) • task B

the teacher says: look at the sentences in red box. they are some questions. you listen to audio file and answer the questions. then teacher asks students to ask those questions in their group.

stage 6 (5-7 minutes) • task D

the teacher asks students to take out a piece of paper and write the numbers 1-10 in a list. then teacher reads some questions about the listening and students write the answe on the paper. then they check their answers in their groups.

stage 7 (8-10 minutes) • task E

teacher asks students to look at the picture and say what they can see in the picture and discuss in groups for 2 minutes. then teacher reads the highlighted part . after that students answer the question and check the answers in their groups.

stage 8 (8-10 minutes) • review

the teacher plays the video about the family tree.
