in this lesson ,students will practise reading as a receptive skills through the context of success .students will particulary practise scanning as sub-skill ,they will look for specific information .through the text as answers for quations and vocabulary exercise about the topic (success).then students try to pronunciate some words by making the stressed syllable on the words.

Warmer/Lead-in (3-5 minutes) • to set the context of the lesson and get students interested in the topic.

T show a photo about what does success mean to you and check students background knowledge whether they know what's in the photo. T gives them two minutes to think then check their ideas . feedback:elicit ideas from whole class and check their opinions about success.

Pre-Reading/Listening (10-12 minutes) • to set the reading context by activating students'background.

T orders from students to categorize the vocabulary about success ito two types (the most and least important )to success in your life. feed back:T discusses the ideas they have come up with and clarify any new words if needed.

While-Reading (10-12 minutes) • to practise scanning as a sub-skill by locating specific information for the meaning of words and the quations.

T guided the students to scan read the text .individually and try to find answers for the meaning of words and the quations ,students will find contextual clues to help them find the answers accordingly. feedback: after time limit has finished ,students will peer check their answers . T will get WC feedback and clear any doubts.

While-Reading (14-16 minutes) • T introduce new lexical items from the text as areading sub-skill practise.

T gives students sheet to complete the table with words from the text ,then student try to find the noun and the adjective to it . feedback:T drills vocabulary and show stresses on the words .

Post-Reading (8-10 minutes) • to make assessment with the partner

in the final stage T gives students assessment (good assess personality )then try to answer the quation about assessment feedback: T discuss with students the partners' score .
