  • To provide detailed reading practice using a text about favorite Cities of the world in the context of cities,that includes new vocab,some questions about the readfing.

Subsidiary Aims

  • To provide specific information listening practice using a text about commercial space travel in the context of short extracts of talking about commercial space travel

Procedure

Warmer/Lead-in (3-5 minutes) • To set lesson context and engage students

T says hello and ss say hello too.t introduce herself and wants ss to do it,and write their names on the board too.t asks ss to write their names on the board too.

Pre-Reading/Listening (10-12 minutes) • To prepare students for the text and make it accessible

t asks ss to share their ideas about their favorite city and the reason.t asks ss to do it in a group and share the ideas.t listens to each gp and help if they have any problem,correct the errors.

While-Reading/Listening #1 (10-12 minutes) • To provide students with less challenging gist and specific information reading/listening tasks
