Procedure

Warmer/Lead-in (4-6 minutes) • To set lesson context and engage students

T writes ZOO on the board T asks ss to name some animals in the zoo T shows some pic and asks ss to name them

Exposure (5-7 minutes) • To provide a model of the task and highlight useful words and phrases

T asks groups to look at pics on book T asks groups to guess the animal names

Task (8-10 minutes) • To provide an opportunity to practice target productive skills

T asks ss to practice short conversation about favorite animals T asks ss to listen to listening part carefully T plays listening part one more time T asks ss to recognize correct words

Planning (6-8 minutes) • To provide an opportunity to plan students' reports

T lets ss to do special practice about choosing correct words

Report (7-9 minutes) • To allow students to report on how they did the task and how it went

Language Analysis (6-8 minutes) • To clarify the meaning, form and pronunciation of the task language
