Start by introducing myself and elicit some questions from the students. eventually coming around to some adjectives. I am a lazy student for example. I am a stubborn husband. Now I want you to write down some adjectives that describe you would use to describe yourself.

Exposure (10-12 minutes) • To provide some TL for the reading to come by exposing the students to some vocabulary through some visuals.

PPT Show slide with eight images and students match them from a list. lazy, stubborn, moody, patient, shy, bright, honest, organised. Elicit from the students which they might be without giving them the handout. Get as many as possible with CCQs. Then hand out vocabulary list. Ask for students again to think about it in groups and elicit the final answer. Now hand out chart, students can place the adjectives under titles of good. bad or neutral. Solo and then compare answers.

Project title and ask the students to predict what it means. Ask now about exercise 3. Read for gist Now the first thing I want you should do is read for gist. I want you to read this quickly, and find out who the enemy is. ICQ - What information are you looking for? Elicit who the enemy is? Teenagers Now I want you to work in pairs and read it again. Fill out what is said about Harry and about Tom. Now, compare the information you got for them with the other group. Finally I want you to work on your own.
