Main Aims

  • To provide accuracy speaking practice in a Discussion in the context of Appearence

Subsidiary Aims

  • To provide detailed listening practice using a text about Appereance in the context of App

Procedure

Warmer/Lead-in (3-5 minutes) • To set lesson context and engage students

T will greet ss, then she will ask them for their homework and correct their mistakes for them. T will review the last session's lesson for them.

Pre-Speaking/Listening (10-12 minutes) • To prepare students for the text and make it accessible

T will play them a video related to the new lesson they will study. Ss will watch and listen carefully then they will tell the teacher about the new words.

While-Speaking/Listening #1 (10-12 minutes) • To provide students with less challenging gist and specific information reading/listening tasks

Ss will be asked to do the the new tasks in new item. They will ask the T if they got a problem. There are some new grammar points that T will try to make them understand just by doing the tasks and explain them if they got questions.

While-Reading/Listening #2 (14-20 minutes) • To provide students with more challenging detailed, deduction and inference reading/listening tasks

There will be some new words that T will show them with pics and will make them repeat. Then ss will be asked to do the next tasks which have the new words explained. After that they will do the conversation and will speak about it. T will explain them the related grammar.

Post-Reading/Listening (8-10 minutes) • To provide with an opportunity to respond to the text and expand on what they've learned

At the end ss will be wanted to write the new words as for they dictation practice for the next session.T will also try to review the lesson they studied.
